Wildcards

Searching for "Smith" will automatically find "Smithe" and "Smitheson". But what if you want to find things that end in Smith, like Goldsmith? With the "%" wildcard, i.e. "%Smith", you'll find Smith anywhere in the name.

Single tick marks (possesive names, et cetera) getting you down?  Searching for Betty's Bath will yield bizarre results when you go from page to page, so try the underscore trick below: 

You can also do a one character wildcard with "_". For example, searching for "Sm_th" will find "Smith", "Smyth" and "Smithe".
