You can control how strictly you'd like to track your client/customer IDs.
Our system can automatically generate client ids for you, but if you'd like to require them, each new client entry will force you to enter the ID.
If you have a previous contact management system and want to use preexisting customer or account IDs, this is the way to go.
You can even set it to not use client IDs at all.
